Our new home...

Believe it or not, we actually received a discount (one month's rent worth) and an apology. Still emotions run high during final apartment inspection. But we are finally done with this 'money pit' apartment. We've received our deposit back and we're are currently staying at parents' house.

We've been accepted into mid renting program and we're moving to our new  home 11/14 of February.

We only saw the building from the outside (the inside is still being finished).

As for now, our new home is a great mystery...

  2. Looks nice, Mila. I like the floor plan. You have been through so much with your old apartment, now you deserve such a nicer place. Bet you can't wait to get in that new apartment!

  3. Congrats on your new place! I like the floor plan -- there is a lot of closet/storage space and the openness of the living room/kitchen/eating area presents lots of possibilities for arranging your furniture. I am happy that the landlords of the former apartment actually apologized to you for all that you went through while living there. A fresh start in a brand new building -- what could be better!
